it seems like all the disney princesses have a flock of wildlife that welcome them wherever the go. little birds that chirp melodies around their heads and cute mice that scurry about their feet, scampering to the notes in each song. well, if you can recall those disney movie scenes then you’ll be able to picture #aandbabe brooke and abhay’s big day with ease. brooke explains, “my perfect fairytale wedding + a little disney! there was a bear at our ceremony location when we left for the rehearsal, we had a family of deer circling us during the ceremony, and bald eagles flying throughout our stay. i loved everything about the day and would LOVE to repeat it over and over and over again.” ready for a modern-day disney wedding in basalt, colorado? be our guest.
we seriously don’t know where to begin. every element of this bohemian elopement in basalt, colorado left us speechless. from the moody a-frame cabin, the western hats, and canyon views, this big day was full of special touches that shaped the entire experience. brooke’s stunning ‘gaia’ by rue de seine wedding dress was such a statement. we love how this open lacework long sleeve wedding dress seemed to almost glide down the aisle. gaia’s low back paired perfectly with brooke’s long plain veil and bold bridal earrings.
their ceremony was full of emotion. from the sweetest message sewn on the inside of a tie to happy tears and written vows, there was just so much to take in. as everyone made their way to their reception dinner the mood was full of joy. sitting side by side on a porch with spectacular views, these two and their guests celebrated their wedding day in true colorado style.
